Pennell: Lack of control cost us

CHRIS Pennell believes Warriors showed the kind of skill and fight that can help them avoid the dreaded drop despite driving away from Allianz Park empty handed.
Full-back Pennell claimed: “If we continue to play like we did in that opening half for the remainder of the season we will be fine.
“We can pick up the wins we need to get out of trouble and climb up the table. We played heads up rugby and showed we can score fine tries.
“It’s probably fair to say we needed an 80-minute performance but against one of the best teams in Europe we showed we can compete.
