Nottingham have signed USA international forward Cameron Dolan on a short-term deal until the end of October.
The experienced 28-year-old provides versatility to the Green and Whites’ pack covering both back-row and lock positions. A feature of the forward’s game that made the signing all the more appealing to Nottingham head coach Neil Fowkes.
“His versatility is a fantastic asset that works well with the demands of the Championship and the impact that has on teams,” Fowkes said.
“I am incredibly pleased that Cameron has chosen to join the Green and Whites as he brings invaluable experience to the club.
“Having played at Premiership, PRO14 and international level, his pedigree speaks for itself and I am sure the lads will look forward to playing with him.”
Standing at 6’6 the USA Eagles player brings a wealth of experience having previously captained his country and featuring in their 2015 World Cup campaign. He is also familiar with European top-flight rugby having represented Northampton Saints in the Premiership and Cardiff Blues in the PRO14.
Currently positioned fifth in the Championship table, Nottingham will look to build on an last week’s impressive performance against Yorkshire Carnegie as they take on Doncaster Knights on Friday night at home under the lights.
