As one of the youngest members of Harlequins’ senior academy, George Hammond has plenty of developing to do.
However, having been capped by England at U17 and U18 levels, the former Whitgift schoolboy is in the ideal place to achieve his rugby dreams.
Born and raised in Worthing, where he played his early rugby for the local National Two side and is currently on loan there as he finds his feet in men’s rugby, Hammond won a scholarship to Whitgift at 16 and is following in the footsteps of some highly impressive alumni.
