Barnes battle but Rams rumble on

LEAGUE leaders Rams pulled themselves over the line with a dogged performance to beat a valiant Barnes side in south London. The hosts took an early lead when Russell Nimmo forced the ball over the line in just the third minute, but it was not the spark either team needed.
The teams had to contend with weather more suited to swimming than rugby and unsurprisingly both teams struggled for control, both of the game and the ball, early on.
