Unbeaten start grinds to a halt after dramatic intervention

ABERAVON brought Llandovery’s unbeaten start to the season to an end at the Talbot Athletic Ground after another top class performance.
They came into the game fresh from wins over Merthyr and Pontypridd and they belied their 50/1 odds to win the Premiership with this excellent win over the high-flying Drovers, who managed to salvage two points from the defeat.
It was all Llandovery early on but good Aberavon defence restricted the Drovers to one try, scored by winger Harri Doel and converted by fly-half Jack Maynard.
