JONATHAN Davies showed Wales head coach Warren Gatland he’s as good as ever as he scored two tries in his first competitive match since November to give the Scarlets a comfortable win.
The Southern Kings ran in two impressive scores of their own through Bjorn Basson, but they weren’t helped by returning Wales and British & Irish Lions ace Davies turning on the style.
After recovering from a horror foot injury suffered against Australia last autumn, this was Davies’ first Guinness PRO14 clash of the season following a hamstring niggle.
