Concussion forces Ryan to call time

FORMER Leinster and Leicester forward Dominic Ryan has retired from rugby as a result of concussion.
The flanker, 28, who won one cap for Ireland, was stood down by Leicester after suffering repeated head injuries.
He moved to Leicester in June 2017 after 113 games for Leinster and his fourth and final appearance was in the Tigers’ win over Quins last September.
He had a head injury assessment during that game after he had previously suffered a blow to the head while tackling George North against Northampton two weeks earlier.
