Cozens on target to see Hartpury get winning start

HARTPURY took a morale-boosting win from this hard-fought openingnight encounter on a mild, still evening in Gloucestershire.
With the sides scoring one try apiece, it was the reliable boot of returning fly half, Luke Cozens, which made the difference as three penalties and a conversion were enough to deny Carnegie a losing bonus point.
The home side were worth the win, which featured an outstanding defensive display, particularly as the Yorkshiremen were pushing hard in the second half.
