COVENTRY Rugby returned to life in the second tier with a lively win over Channel islanders Jersey Reds at butts Park arena yesterday.
Jersey Reds used their experience to open up in the first half as successive tries from Auguy Slowik and Nick Selway gave the visitors the lead before Will Maisey kicked five points from his boot accompanied by a James Voss try in the corner to bring the hosts within two points at the break.
