SHAUN EDWARDS admits that he is taking a gamble after deciding to return to Wigan Warriors following the World Cup next year.
The Super League side revealed this week that Edwards, below, will leave his job as Wales defence coach when his contract is up. Edwards moved to Union in 2001 when he started work with Wasps, playing a key role alongside Warren Gatland in helping them win three Premiership crowns and two Heineken Cups.
And despite missing out on the Harlequins job earlier in the summer the 51-year-old said he could have stayed in Union for the next 15 years.
