Gibson left frustrated by Shields’ selection

NORTHAMPTON back row Jamie Gibson has vowed never to relinquish his England dream despite being overlooked in favour of New Zealander Brad Shields.
Gibson, 27, who was named in this season’s BT Sport Premiership XV on the back of an outstanding season for Saints, admits his omission by England was disappointing.
He told The Rugby Paper: “It’s a hard one but I suppose he (Shields) is clearly a good player; he’s captaining a very good side and he’s got experience.
