DRAGONS-BOUND flyhalf Jacob Botica scored a crucial 70th minute solo try to clinch RGC’s victory after Bargoed had staged a tremendous fightback.
Bargoed’s two bonus points lifted them off the bottom of the table, replaced by Neath, while RGC finish fourth.
The Bulls had overturned an early 14-0 deficit to lead 24-21 going into the last quarter but Botica sliced through the defence and Mei Parry added another late try.
