GLOUCESTERSHIRE had to dig deep to see off a spirited Devon side at Brixham.
The contest was finely poised at 28-26 going into the final 15 minutes and Devon looked the most likely to score.
The hosts had three great chances to go in front but could not take them, and Gloucestershire sealed the win when replacement George Angel scored under the posts.
Then, with the last action of the match, James Moffat put over a penalty to give the scoreline a rather flattering look.
