I WAS disappointed not to have my previous letter published last weekend, regarding the unbelievable renaming of Bristol RFC to the Bristol Bears.
However my disappointment was almost forgotten when I read the excellent article by Nick Cain, on the same matter!
I was so relieved that I am obviously not the only loyal Bristol supporter, who is so against this poorly conceived change of name.
Mr Cain absolutely hit the nail on the head when he said that the rebranding should reflect the history and tradition of the club, and that any new name should be relevant to the City of Bristol.
