IT’S a shame for John Kingston to be leaving his beloved Harlequins at the end of the season, but without trying to sound wise after the event, for me he was never the right person to lead the club.
Fantastic team manager no question, but I think Quins should have have left him to his old role and brought in someone ahead of him.
Quins had already started to stall under Conor O’Shea after their league title in 2012, and fresh ideas were needed.
