THE spring sun shone on the Avenue and Wharfedale as they won by six tries to three.
It keeps Wharfedale in the battle to avoid relegation as they sit just three points behind Blaydon with two matches left.
Dale opened the scoring after a strong run from Tom Asejevs was finished off by Kieran Frost. Tom Barrett added the extras and slotted over a penalty.
Hinckley came back strongly with tries from Joe Glover and Joe Wilson. One was converted by Wilson to take the visitors into the lead.
