BRIDGEND battled to a narrow victory in difficult conditions, but it could have been a different story had the visitors not squandered several scoring opportunities.
It took the Quins little more than a minute to claim the lead; Bridgend conceding a penalty from the kick off that was successfully converted by fly-half Jac Wilson.
Jamie Murphy then levelled the scores for Bridgend with a 13th minute penalty.
The hosts took the lead three minutes later, flanker Owain Lloyd penetrating the Quins’ defence and fullback Jonny Phillips touching down.
