WALES will be chasing a crock of gold in Cardiff today that promises to be worth as much as £2m in Six Nations prize money.
A storming home run against Italy this afternoon and France at the same venue six days later will put Wales in serious contention to finish runners-up behind Ireland.
Wales, pushed down to fifth by France’s win against England, seek a maximum-point win today that would catapult them from second bottom to second top, more than doubling their prize money from £1.5m to £3.5m.
