One drug test a season is not enough

FIRST the good news. The RPA reports that for last season (2016-17) there was not a single anti doping violation in the professional game in England, ie the Aviva Premiership and the Green King IPA Championship.
Additionally, 47 education workshops were conducted throughout the season and given the current atmosphere and focus on Performance Enhancing Drugs that must surely be welcomed.
Now the not so good news. The RPA in their report this week state that 623 Test were conducted during that period, which sounds impressive but is in fact a pitiful figure.
