CLIFTON took five precious points from this encounter but Broadstreet managed to grab two in defeat.
With so much at stake this was always going to be a tense encounter played with an unpredictable swirling wind affecting the play. Clifton dominated the opening stages in both territory and possession but a stubborn Broadstreet defence restricted them to a Max Woodward try converted by Brad Barnes.
