SPARTANS lock Craig Hoare has been banned from all sport for four years after testing positive for an anabolic steroid.
The 20-year-old was tested after the semi-final of the RFU National Junior Vase, in which he scored as the Gloucester side beat Old Whitgiftians 32-19. Hoare tested positive for the presence of Drostanolone and Methylhexaneamine and missed the chance to play at Twickenham in the final and was also not allowed to collect a medal following the game.
