BURY came oh so close to toppling the undefeated league leaders.
They outscored them six tries to five but the boot of Jon Bentley was the difference with 15 points.
The game hinged on a moment in the 64th minute.
With Bury trailing by five points, they were camped deep in the Chinnor 22 but an over-elaborate pass allowed Kierran Goss the chance to scoop up and sweep downfield. He was stopped but Bury were powerless to prevent scrum-half Alex Gliksten sweeping over.
