SALE extended their winning run to six games over Chester with a comprehensive victory at Hare Lane.
The result means the hosts have now won only one match in their last four league outings. Sale however remain in the hunt for promotion. It was the visitors who touched down first thanks to Chris Mayor on 18 minutes, fly-half Chris Johnson adding the extras.
