Hoppers beat Lymm to extend their lead

PRESTON Grasshoppers opened up a five point gap at the top of the table as they edged past second place Lymm19-13.
The visitors went in 10-7 ahead at the break after a try from Adam Bray was converted by Cormack Nolan who also added a penalty to a Matt Lamprey try converted by Jake Squirrel for Hoppers.
In the second period, the extra pace of the league leaders proved crucial as tries from Ally Murray converted by Squirrel and Niall Crossley sealed the win, Nolan on target with a late penalty for Lymm. With neither side taking a bonus point, Hull edge a little closer after ...
