■ EXETER CHIEFS look to have been successful in their battle to keep
Australian-born forward Mitch Lees at the club beyond the end of the season. Lees, who was signed from London Welsh in 2014, had been attracting interest from a couple of French clubs.
But Blindside understands that the 29-yearold, who hails from Sydney, has agreed to stay at Sandy Park.
It is believed that England prop Harry Williams has also agreed a deal to remain with the Premiership champions.
