ESHER put an end to their five-game losing streak with a formidable defensive display against Blackheath at Molesey Road.
The home side started the stronger of the two teams, scoring two tries in quick succession through winger Benjamin Loader and full-back Lloyd Davies.
Blackheath responded from close range with scrum-half Joshua Davies and doubled their score through Tom Chapman in the corner.
