RICKIE Aley hit five penalties and a drop goal as South Leicester ended Tynedale’s winning start to the season.
Barend Moolman opened the scoring with a try in the 11th minute for South Leicester, despite a confident Tynedale dominating territory.
The visitors responded midway through the half when Guy Pike broke the South Leicester line.
And, by then adjusted to the testing conditions, Tynedale scored their second try out wide as James Spencer floated a ball to Oliver Walker, cutting out the rush defence from South Leicester.
