ROTHERHAM are celebrating their first win of the season after six consecutive league defeats and hope this morale-boosting victory will prove to be a turning point when the league campaign resumes.
The recruitment of two Wasps’ players, scrum-half Will Porter and forward Tom Willis, had a big impact in the second half as a fighting recovery changed the contest with Rotherham scoring 18 unanswered points after trailing 23-10 at half-time.
