BIRMINGHAM and Solihull Bees ran in nine tries to keep up their 100 per cent record as Doncaster Phoenix were beaten 59-27 in a battle of two early pacesetters.
Hosts Doncaster had led 12-7 after two tries cancelled out JT Nabetelevu’s opener, but Bees surged and scores from Andy Weaver, Zane Raimondi, Harry O’Brien and Umraan Jadwatt secured the bonus point, despite Doncaster hitting back in a frantic, eight-try first half that finished 33-17.
