NEWPORT Salop set the early pace as they enjoyed another try-laden victory, securing all five points for the third successive week with a 62-13 win at Newbold on Avon.
Having put 76 then 45 points on the board in the opening two matches, Newport went past the half century again and have now recorded a remarkable 183 in three games.
Doncaster Phoenix and Peterborough Lions met having taken maximum points from their first two, but it was the Lions who kept their perfect record, joining Newport on 15 points with a 30-11 away victory.
