AN EXCELLENT secondhalf spell for Redingensians was enough to see them past a spirited Worthing side.
Mathew McLean slotted an early penalty to nudge the Sussex side ahead, but flanker Tom Vooght dotted down on nine minutes, Thomas Humberstone converting, as Reds hit back.
No.8 Robbie Stapley also crossed 12 minutes from half-time as the visitors stretched their lead.
Worthing, though, hit back instantly through McLean, who crossed before converting his own try to close it to 12-10.
