JAMES WILSON could join the growing clan of ex-Northampton players at Championship side Bedford.
The 34-year-old wing/full-back was one of a dozen players released by the Saints at the end of last season.
He is currently training with the Blues with a view to a potential move to Goldington Road where ex-Saints men Lee Dickson, Alex Rae, Paul Tupai, Howard Packman and Will Hooley are playing.
New Zealand-born Wilson made 95 appearances in all competitions in the five seasons he was at Franklin’s Gardens.
