BENMorgan is hell bent on winning back his England place and reckons Gloucester’s new spirit can thrust him into limelight when it comes to squad selection.
Gloucester’s indifferent form over the last two seasons has seen Morgan fall down the Red Rose pecking order since winning the last of 31 caps against Australia in 2015.
However, the powerful No.8 reckons the arrival of hard-nosed head coach Johan Ackermann has injected a new sense of purpose into Kingsholm and believes he can now apply pressure to England regulars Billy Vunipola and Nathan Hughes.
