RGC 1404 outside-half Jacob Botica landed a penalty at the death to rescue a narrow triumph over Llanelli.
The hosts got off to a flying start on their return to North Wales thanks to Tom Jones, who finished well after some neat footwork from Dion Jones set up the chance.
Botica converted, but Llanelli were back in it five minutes later when Tom Rogers powerfully charged over for a try to cut the gap to 7-5. And they were soon ahead after building the phases and unleashing Wales Under-20s prospect Ryan Conbeer, who scored at the corner....
