MACCLESFIELD returned to National Two with a resounding win against Wharfedale, but had to weather a first-half storm from the lads in green.
In fact it was the visitors who took the lead in the fifth minute through prop Toms Asejevs and for spells they looked strong, shifting the ball wide with confidence.
