England wing Denny Solomona charged by RFU over alleged homophobic comment

It has been alleged Solomona used words of a homophobic nature following a ruck in the 55th minute of the Aviva clash at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Worcester fly-half Jamie Shillcock approached referee Andrew Jackson before saying ‘it was a homophobic slur, sir. Twice’.
The code-convert has been charged by citing commissioner ‘conduct prejudicial to the interests of the union or the game’, with both team’s head coaches saying they were unaware any incident had taken place.
