Gold excited to have captain GJ back to lead battle

WORCESTER hope concussion problems to a trio of key players are a thing of the past as they look set to welcome back captain GJ van Velze for the start of the Premiership season.
The loose forward suffered concussion against Saracens on the opening day of the last campaign and did not play again during 2016-17, with the club granting him an “extended break from normal player duties”.
Ben Te’o’s opening year at the club was compromised by two concussions, while fly-half Tom Heathcote also endured a stint on the sidelines.
