LEICESTER Tigers’ former Wallaby international Peter Betham appears to be at the centre of a tug of war between Exeter and Clermont Auvergne.
Betham who plays centre or wing, signed a new contract with Tigers only in January but it has been suggested he could be available this summer.
The 28-year-old was born in New Zealand but moved to Australia as a child and grew up in the Sydney area.
He first started playing rugby while at university and played Super Rugby for Brumbies, Waratahs and Rebels before moving to the Tigers 18 months ago.
