CAMBRIDGE finished their season with a sixth successive defeat and no win at Grantchester Road since beating Hull Ionians way back in November.
Jack Green’s early penalty miss from 40 metres was unlucky but set the tone for the afternoon, allowing Albion to take the lead despite some excellent passages from the hosts, who couldn’t find their way through a well-drilled defence.
Harry Strong touched down for the visitors, but Albert Portsmouth had the Blood & Sands back on terms with a storming finish.
