Top schools peaking for nationals

SCHOOL SEVENS
HAMPTON go into this week’s Rosslyn Park national Sevens tournament unbeaten after seeing off Beechen Cliff in the Surrey Sevens final on Wednesday.
The Middlesex school have recorded 16 wins and one draw from their 17 Sevens games this season, including victories at their own event, plus the Middlesex Sevens two weeks ago.
They topped a tough Group D in Richmond on Wednesday and wins over AASE side Filton College (52-5) and St Benedict’s (31- 15) sent them to the last four where they met the impressive St John’s Leatherhead.
