BISHOP’S Stortford proved why they are at the top of the league with a hard fought victory over a spirited Henley Hawks.
In fact, it was probably one of the Hawks’ best performances of the season but they were eventually undone by the larger visiting forwards and some unforced errors.
The home side scored first when Dave Manning scampered over from a quickly-taken penalty in a frantic start.
