I RECENTLY attended the National League 2 South clash between Old Elthamians and Chinnor, a clash between two clubs who have risen rapidly up the league pyramid in the last few years thanks to heavy private finance.
There is every chance both will reach the Championship in time. However, after the collapse of London Welsh, I am concerned about the sustainability of these types of clubs in the modern-era.
