CORNISH Pirates kept their hopes of a Greene King Championship semifinal alive with a win over London Scottish last Sunday and fly-half Laurence May is now looking at claiming a big scalp in Leeds.
The Pirates held on to a 25-24 success over the playoffs chasing Exiles but nearly blew an 18-6 halftime lead in the process.
May told TRP: “We only lost by seven points to Carnegie when they came to the Mennaye so we’re not going to their place looking for damage limitation. We’ll be hoping for a win.
