Sarries into last four but Tigers lie in wait again

ACADEMY coach Ian Vass praised Saracens’ composure in closing out a 29-20 victory over Leicester that secured them a home semi-final in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
Scores by Richard Barrington, Nathan Earle and Nick Tompkins allowed Saracens to open up a 19-3 lead, but Leicester fought back through Luke Hamilton and George McGuigan.
However, Tom Whiteley sealed the win with a bonus point try in the final moments.
The two will meet again on Saturday, March 11, in the last four after Sarries claimed top seeding while Leicester finished as the fourth-best pool winners.
