A STORMING opening quarter laid the foundations for Old Elthamians’ emphatic seven-try victory over Henley Hawks at a freezing College Meadow.
OEs caught the visitors’ defence cold early on with some expansive play, opening up a 22-5 lead after only 22 minutes thanks to tries from Jay Rudland-Thomas, Dom Lespierre and two from man of the match centre James Golledge, Henley replying with a try by Joe Butler.
