Belisario Agulla will stay at Newcastle Falcons next season having penned a permanent deal with the club.
The 27-year-old former Argentina international arrived at Kingston Park late October and is able to play at centre, wing or full-back.
He said: “I am very happy to be staying in Newcastle with the Falcons. This squad is very united and I have been made to feel very welcome since I got here.
“I share the ambitions of everyone here in wanting to get better for next season and I think we will definitely do that.”
Director of rugby Dean Richards commented: “We are delighted to have secured Belisario on a new contract.
“He is a quality player who came to us during the season and brings a lot to the squad.”
