Gareth Davies has been named at scrum-half for Wales‘ crucial World Cup clash against England at Twickenham on Saturday.
The Scarlets scrum-half gets the nod ahead of Lloyd Williams while there is no room in the match day 23 for Mike Phillips who was recalled following the injury to Rhys Webb.
The other big call from Warren Gatland comes from the wing with Hallam Amos starting on the right wing instead of Alex Cuthbert.
Exeter Chief Tomas Francis starts at tighthead with Scott Baldwin at hooker and Gethin Jenkins at loosehead
Samson Lee is fit enough to sit on the bench but full-back Liam Williams has recovered from his thigh knock and starts in the no.15 jersey.
Dan Lydiate returns to the back row to partner the experienced Sam Warburton and Taupe Faletau.
“Saturday is a huge occasion for both teams and for the tournament and we are really looking forward to it,” said Wales head coach Warren Gatland.
“Both sides kicked their tournament off with a bonus-point win but we know we will need to step up at Twickenham on Saturday.”
