Former Wales Sevens star Cory Allen will make his debut for Wales when they take on Argentina on Saturday.
The Cardiff Blues player comes in at outside centre for the injured Jonathan Davies who suffered a torn pectoral in the 24-15 defeat to South Africa.
Allen is one of three changes to the starting XV with Justin Tipuric, Dan Biggar and Rhodri Jones.
Tipuric is called from the bench to openside pushing captain Sam Warburton to blindside as fellow British & Irish Lion Dan Lydiate is out injured.
Up front, Rhodri Jones takes over from Adam Jones and will start alongside Gethin Jenkins who is set to win his 100th cap for the Six Nations champions.
Dan Biggar will lead the attack from fly-half getting the nod over Rhys Priestland who is dropping out.
Head coach Warren Gatland said: “It was always our intention to give Dan and Rhys one game each at the start of the series and it’s Dan chance this weekend.
“Last weekend will stand us in good stead in terms of physicality and intensity as Saturday will be a huge battle against Argentina.”
There will also be a first Test start for a former Sevens star in the Pumas side as winger Santiago Cordero replaces Juan Imhoff on the wing.
The 19-year-old, who came off the bench in the 31-12 defeat to England last week, is one of four changes to the starting XV.
Manuel Carizza starts in the second row in place of Mariano Galarza while Martin Landajo gets the nod over Tomas Cubelli at scrum-half.
Joaquín Tuculet is the last of the changes coming in at full-back for Lucas González Amorosino.
